For practitioners · envisioned
Blood work, triaged. Patients, in context. Consultations, prepared.
Triage blood results in seconds. See what's happened between visits. Walk into every consultation prepared. Goldyn turns incoming blood work and tracked patient data into a triaged inbox with longitudinal context, AI-assisted analysis, and one-glance graphs — so you spend your time on decisions, not on collating.
The Goldyn patient app is available in private alpha today. The practitioner workspace is not yet live — alpha practitioners will help shape what ships first.
Why this workspace exists
Patient-centred care, made operational.
A goldyn result in health is a patient-centred one — where the patient is an active participant in their own care, and the practitioner has a workflow built around that participation. This workspace exists to make that operationally possible on your side of the room.
Everything here — the triage inbox, the longitudinal graphs, the AI consult prep — is designed to hand you the patient's contribution in a form you can actually use in fifteen minutes, so the patient stays in control of their own care and you spend your time on the decisions that matter.
The flagship
Blood results, triaged and understood.
Every practitioner sees the same problem: results come back all day, every day, and each one has to be triaged, interpreted, and contextualised against the patient's history. Manually. In minutes you don't have.
Goldyn's practitioner workspace turns that into a workflow that respects your time.
- Automatic triage. Every incoming result — whether the patient uploads it or it flows directly from a lab partner — is auto-triaged: normal, watch, action needed, or urgent. Your inbox arrives already sorted by what needs attention first.
- Longitudinal context, on arrival. Every marker plotted against that patient's own history. Not just "TSH is 4.8" — "TSH has risen from 2.1 to 4.8 over the last eight months, and patient-reported fatigue has increased over the same window." The context arrives with the result.
- AI analysis in plain language. A short read on each result: what changed, what didn't, what's worth looking at against the patient's other tracked data. HPCSA Booklet 20 aligned — pattern-spotting for you, never diagnosis. The clinical decision remains yours.
- Graphs that make the story obvious. Every marker with trend lines, reference bands, and — where the AI sees them — correlations with the patient's symptoms, medications, meals, sleep, or other tracked signals. One glance to see the shape of what's changing.
- Cross-patient triage view. "Which of my patients have new results this week that need attention?" One filter, one screen. Move through your triage queue in the order it matters.
- Direct lab integrations (later phase). Alongside patient uploads, results flow directly into Goldyn from participating SA labs (Ampath, Lancet, PathCare). No manual upload required. First lab integration in Phase 2; more follow based on practitioner demand.
Lab partnerships are in early conversations. Alpha practitioners help decide which labs and which markers we prioritise first.
Why practitioners are asking for this
Fifteen minutes. Six weeks of gaps.
You have fifteen minutes with a patient. You need to know what's happened in the six weeks since you last saw them. You need to remember what you asked them to change, whether they did, whether it helped, and what to try next.
Right now, most of that lives in a patient's memory, or is lost.
Goldyn's practitioner workspace is designed to change that — using the same daily check-ins, blood work uploads, and patterns that patients are already tracking in the Goldyn app.
The rest of the practitioner workspace
Envisioned features. In active design.
Phase 2 · flagship
Blood work triage and longitudinal graphs
Every uploaded or lab-fed result parsed, normalised, plotted over time, and AI-triaged against the patient's own history — with treatment and symptom overlays.
Phase 2 · flagship
Cross-signal AI analysis
AI correlates blood markers with tracked symptoms, energy, sleep, medication adherence, and meals to surface patterns worth raising in the next consult.
Phase 2
Patient panel in one place
See every patient who's shared their Goldyn data with you. Filter by 'needs attention this week,' 'upcoming appointments,' 'off-protocol,' or 'flagged something.'
Phase 2
A full picture per patient
Check-in history, blood work, medication adherence, symptoms, meals, exercise, notes — all in one view. Trend charts, timeline, recent changes highlighted.
Phase 2
AI-assisted consult prep
Trigger a five-minute consult brief for any patient. Ask what patterns show up between the check-ins and the blood work. Auditable outputs, never framed as diagnosis.
Phase 2
Between-visit alerts
Set thresholds you care about — a marker crossing a value, a symptom pattern shifting, protocol adherence dropping. Patient-initiated flags land in the same inbox.
Phase 3
Direct lab integrations
Envisioned integrations with major SA pathology labs (Ampath, Lancet, PathCare) so results flow into the patient's Goldyn record and your workspace automatically.
Phase 3
Protocols
Prescribe structured plans your patient follows in-app — dietary changes, tracking prompts, medication schedules, activity targets. Reusable templates across your panel.
Phase 4
Practice-level workspace
Shared patient pools across practitioners in one practice. Cohort views, practice-tier billing, and deeper analytics.
What it will not do
Decision support. Not decision replacement.
The practitioner workspace will not:
- · Replace your clinical judgment
- · Diagnose or prescribe
- · Substitute for your EMR or practice management system
- · Provide legal or medical advice
Goldyn is designed to align with HPCSA Booklet 20 (Ethical Use of AI in Healthcare, November 2025). AI outputs are always framed as preparation and pattern-spotting for the practitioner — the clinical decision remains yours, disclosure to the patient is built in, and every AI interaction is auditable.
Who this is being built with
A small first cohort in South Africa.
We're inviting a small first cohort of practitioners to help shape the practitioner workspace before it ships. Priority for the alpha:
- · Functional medicine practitioners
- · GPs working with chronic-condition patients
- · Endocrinologists, cardiologists, and other specialists managing longitudinal patients
- · OBs and midwives managing pregnancy through postpartum
- · Practitioners already recommending patient-tracking apps and frustrated by what exists
Alpha practitioners get:
- · Direct input into what ships first
- · Free access through the alpha, and early access to the paid tier at a preferential rate at launch
- · A direct line to the founder
- · Confidentiality — your feedback and your patient data are yours
Privacy and consent
Patient-first, by design.
- · Patient data reaches you only when the patient explicitly shares it with you through their Goldyn app.
- · Patients can revoke access at any time.
- · Patient data is stored on EU servers (Ireland), processed by AWS AI in the EU, never sold, and never used to train AI models.
- · The practitioner tier will operate under a separate Practitioner Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement, aligned with POPIA and HPCSA obligations. Both will be published before the practitioner tier goes live.
What the alpha will look like
